I second that. A very incredible year. And just think 2 years ago they were 3-8 and now king of the world. They set the bar for the other Dakota schools so we will see which one of us can match what NDSU did. Good luck on going for a repeat next season. :thumb:

Yes Congratulations is in order...very nice

I was impressed with the defense and especially the fans that out traveled and made more noise than a fan base that could drive 4 hours to the game...good on ya

Agreed.

The Herd have a superior football program, all-around, than anything in the Valley, I have to admit. All the best to them.

Don't get ahead of yourself. Enjoy it while you have it cause it can fall apart in a hurry. Speaking of falling apart, still cant believe you have the guts to post on here.

And now it's back to flood planning, oil and gas futures, lutefisk, and tending the next crop of spring wheat.

Bison played a great game and were the better team by far yesterday! Congrats

Congrats to NDSU. :thumb:

ENJOY the victory. I know you ASSume with 14+ starters coming back, including many of your top players that you'll pull an App State repeat and be back in Frisco next yr.

In 05' JMU was coming off the 04' NC, with 15 starters back including our rJr QB, was pre season #1. I would have bet serious $ JMU would be back in the playoffs. Proceeded to go 7-4 (6-4 Div I) and miss the playoffs. Didn't play a I-A, so if did likely would have been 6-5. 4 I-AA losses, 3 in CAA + one to Jermome Simpson & Tyler Thigpen led Coastal Carolina, all by 3-6 points. Won 6 of the other 7 games in blowouts but was all for nought. Certainly had playoff talent & experience on that team, more than had this yr, but underachieved. Think some guys lost the fire in the belly after winner the NC and hearing pre season #1 all summer. Its been 7 yrs, 4 playoff appearances, 1 semi, and still haven't made it back to an NC game...

EWU wins the NC and has 14+ starters back, pre season #1. I'm sure every EWU fan thought they would be NC contenders again. Who in Aug thought they would go 6-5?

NDSU should make the playoffs again, should be NC contenders, should make it back to Frisco. But "should" doesn't always happen, so again, congrats and enjoy this one, because you never know when you'll be back..

Next season starts @Colorado St, @UNI and YSU in the first 4 games.
I thought NDSU hosted YSU this past season? Yeah, I looked at the YSU game notes from their last game- not a single senior listed as a starter on offense, only 4 on defense. Guess they'll be a top 3 pick pre season.

We did host YSU this year but with South Dakota coming in next year all the MVFC schedules shuffled a bit.
