I think you really underestimate the traveling of the Herd. Just check out the panic on Bisonville about getting tickets then go to the SHSU fan site. I wouldn't doubt it if the Bison snag nearly half the tickets or more.

MU didnt prove that speed kills, they proved Montana had no answer for the option. No pass rush, a poor secondary and no control on the line of scrimmage. A perfect evening of football to learn how not to cover option backs.AZGrizFan wrote:SHSU? They proved against the Griz (at least for a half) that speed kills.
NDSU? They proved against GSU (beyond a shadow of a doubt) that they know how to stop the option.
Who wins? Or are you one of those who couldn't care less because your team is out?
Its my opinion SHSU was starting to get knocked back physically in the second half. Bad sign for them against the NDSU BISON, The strongest, most physical team in the FCS division.
SHSU has some speed but there are NDSU defensive players that can run him down and shut him down. They can tweak that option all day, get themselves confused, but my guess is they will be switching to drop back passing and out of their game sooner rather than later. GSU stuck with it all day!

Three times in the past over many many years I was sure that NDSU was going to lose...I was wrong three times
I won't make that mistake again
NDSU wins
I should cheer for them just because I enjoyed so much the beat down they gave the cats in last years playoffs

a) No Pass rush? Really? Do you know how many times SHSU attempted to throw the ball?JBB wrote:MU didnt prove that speed kills, they proved Montana had no answer for the option. 2) Poor Secondary? Really?
c) I wonder if you watched the game or are (as usual) just pulling shit out of your ass (or in your case, off your dick).
There were two problems in that game: tackling/angles and turnovers. Once the Griz fixed the tackling issue SHSU was essentially shut down. A turnover on their own 12 yard line essentially sealed the Griz's fate.

When they did pass it was at their leisure. They ran all over the Grizz all night.
Your are a foul mouthed hater with cock-breath no class. Why do you hate?
I watched your offense make mistake after mistake. That was the margin of victory for them. For whatever reason there was better defense against the BearKats in the second half, I think it was more physical than anything, but SHSU already had the margin of victory off the Grizzlies offensive mistakes.
This game isnt about SHSUs offense. Its about NDSUs offense, just like the GSU game was. The option is flawed. The BISON will keep pace, something Montana couldnt do because of mistakes and turnovers on offense.

Lay off Z! What GF's trying to say is he's gone black and gone back, he prefers swirl ice cream comes, he's a Reagan Democrat, the glass is simply half..., he drinks Bud Light Black and Tans.
As for me, NDSU already has 8 championships, is a FCS perrenial power elite program, and is on schedule for a threepeat before their move to the Big Twelve, so I'm hoping the Kats take this one.

You and I are basically splitting a hair on how bad or good the Grizz were. You are focusing on some things and I am focusing on others.
Are you still insiting on a moral victory for your team the Montana Grizzlies or what? You didnt win the game so what should I say, Montana played well?
I could say they put up a good fight even though they were overmatched? Would that make you and your cock-breath happy?
But no, I prefer to analyze that game correctly without regard to your personal feelings. That way I can be sure to get it right, as I have been for the past year or so.
This game pits the "Good" Montana, the NDSU BISON against the "Good" GSU, the SHSU BearKats. If you watched the App State/GSU game, the NDSU/GSU game, the Montana/SHSU game its clear the option is fatally flawed. The story is going to be the NDSU offense.

There some truth here. I would keep in mind that SHSU was steamrolling MU on the last drive. And, SHSU made huge mistakes that allowed UM to get back in the game for a while.JBB wrote:You had a terrible secondary, they were getting blocked out of plays by the WRs.AZGrizFan wrote:

IMO, MU lost because of poor coaching. They had the talent and speed to beat the Kats, but they let it get away, big, early. The kids should have been better prepared, especially on the defensive side. The defensive gameplan against the run was laughable.
