I was catching up on Beavis and Butthead episodes on the MTV website last night. The commercials (which you can't skip) are always annoying, but when I watched the most recent episode lat night, instead of having four various annoying commercials during each break, they played the same annoying commercial four times back to back to back to back at each break.

The commercial? Kate Bosworth singing about the "touch and feel of cotton, the fabric of our lives".

Holy shit was that annoying.

1. I'd do her. She's hot and has a nice voice.
2. I'd do her. She's skinny but nice looking. Her voice is decent.
3. I'd do her. She's borderline anorexic, but that probably means she'd make me more sandwiches. Her voice is kind of annoying though.
4. I dunno. That bitch is skinnier than my cat. I sort of wish she'd just shut up and make me a sandwich.
5-12. Someone needs to kill this bitch and ban this commercial.

I'm guessing it was a tax that would be passed on to people who bought Christmas Trees and who didn't inflict it upon themselves except in the sense that they bought the Christmas trees.

Perhaps we should re-examine the extent to whcih government helps industry. However, a "tax breaK is not, in my opinion, a subsidy. You are not giving somebody something by "letting" them keep their own money. So that kind of stuff does not, in my opinion, qualify.

But for darned sure government shouldn't be taxing people in in order to pay for some industry's advertising.
