I agree Grizo. I am glad the AD's are talking and trying to put things together. I would hope that each team will get something nice for making the trip to the other's stadium. Two big time programs meeting in back to back years would be dynomite!

The Northern Arizona game was a one and done deal. The Jacks were paid for the game in Boone, and I don't think there was ever any talk of making it an actual series.

Pretty much the same is being done with McNeese this year with the Cowboys traveling to ASU. An actual home and home will take place when App travels to Lake Charles in 2013 and McNeese returns to Boone in 2014.

I believe any talk with UNI was merely speculation and certainly not anywhere close to either school "backing out" on each other.

NAU wanted a home and home. ASU didn't. NAU, needing an 11th game badly, agreed to be paid handsomely for it in the end, but first preference was always a home and home.

They also turned down a home and home with UNI as recently as this past year.....then again Montana turned down a home and home with UNI as well.

Well as you can see it's gonna take some guaranteed money to move either one of these teams out of a money making environment. We have played at UNI and never had a return game back in 1987 or 88. I don't know if we were owed one and bought out or what the deal was but we played there last as far as non play off stuff goes.

I think that was a 1 and done, if the person I got my info from is correct...I'm assuming he is with as close to the school as he is.

Montana wasn't trying to setup the Vegas Classic. They were trying to get a Montana/Grambling matchup and when Gramblin couldn't do it maybe they contacted UNI to try and still set up a classic style game there. I'm not sure but somebody must be offering us money to have a season opener down in Vegas because it's been tossed around quite a bit the last few years.

IF you keep on throwing gas on the fire over on egriz you will plunge SC and the whole east coast (bias) into another gas shortage, like you did last time.
