Hats Off to Lehigh

Post by andy7171 »

Completely out coached. Lehigh pwned our defense. O-line dominated, OC's game plan was a work of art. NO CLUE why T-West played only a handful of downs. My QB, who is an assistant AD, asked the trainers what was the deal, they told him he was 100%.

BY FAR, this was the best team we've played, at least as far as our defense is concerned.

I blame myself, I moved from our seats to the field house in the last 8 minutes. Onsides kick, F'ING SAFTEY! Game over.

We were completely beaten.

Lehigh, you guys won this game outright. Hat's off. :notworthy:

It was a great season, one to be remembered for a long time. I can no longer say I played on the best Towson(state) team, proudly.

Beat NDSU.

Just found out the refs were from the MEAC. Shitty calls all day against Towson. I'm not going Bill Fette or anything, but if the kick returner steps on the 1' line and kneels in the endzone, thats a saftey, not ball on the 1' line.

End of complaint. Lehigh won this game.

Looking forward to playing a storied program like Lehigh. Had them ahead of NDSU in my final vote, just hope the other Bison fans, coaches and players have that respect, or Lehigh could leave them in the dust next week.

Playing Towson in the playoff would have been so 1984. :coffee:

Tough end to a great season for the Tigers...

Said in another thread - and I mean it - it would have been a blast talking junk with you all week in advance of a Towson/NDSU game...

Here's the big diff:

Andy was man enough to admit that his team was beat. TTBF would be as well, but not those two NDSU trolls.

There should be some way to honor TTBF and all the "good" NDSU fans for his/their honorable posting here should NDSU win while leaving the two trolls out of it. I don't know of any way to do that, though.

[There's a HUGE difference between being crazy (SH) and being a troll (you-know-who).]

Seriously fellas, Congrats to Lehigh fans, you earned this. I've had a day to reflect, the "just happy to be there" attitude got to me. Our team played tought but ultimately lost. A great game to watch, but my team come up on the wrong side of the scoreboard. Both teams left it all on the field. Neither side should feel bad. This was a hard fought game beginning to end.

You lost to a Patriot League team, man, no excuse for that. :ohno:

On the bright side, that was the loudest game I've ever heard at Towson so kudos for getting the fans out. :thumb:

11 carries for West??

Sucks for Towson that the Eagles played on Thursday night this week so Andy Reid could come down & call plays on Saturday.

Sure about this Andy? You actually have had to enter an actual game with actual time still on the clock. :thumb:

Otherwise, you never "played". Here's an FIFY:

Now now - there's actual photographic proof out there of Andy playing in a real game - I'm thinking of the pic where he's the "lead" blocker trailing the ball carrier...

Yeah I'm stepping on the DL I flattened and blocking the next level when the RB passed me on route to a TD. Why doesn't anyone understand that?

Oh that's right, because I get pissed about it.

The RB in that picture was busting my balls about it this Saturday. He's got it framed and he brought it to the tailgate, just so everyone could point and laugh.

Holy crap, you are a badass. I bet all college football players really look up to a legend like you.

Maybe someday, they too can be a middle aged loser that lives alone with a bunch of cats smoking pot like a 19 year old.
