Yep. Only 60 were made available to the general public this morning which means the students, ODU season ticket holders, and fans on the season-ticket waiting list gobbled up around 17700 tickets. GO MONARCHS!
Found this little gem on MFZ from an NSU poster.
Also was told they are no longer taking orders online because NSU fans been signing up as ODU alums and purchasing tickets since last night. LOL!!! It's going to be a lot more Spartans than they thought at the stadium.

Congrats on selling out a Thanksgiving week game ODU definitely has some loyal fans!

I highly doubt it was a lot of people...probably less than 20. I saw what they were trying to do on their cute little beholdnsu forum yesterday. Yes, I know the password to their hidden "This is Sparta" and "Spartan Empire" sections...that's what this thread was about: http://meacfanszone.proboards.com/index ... read=12040" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Tip to all athletic departments, if you let the perception get out there that you are broke...you ARE broke.
That was a gamble they could not afford. Had they drawn a Stoney Brook or an EKU, they would have been hosed.

Still would have been NSU's first ever D1 home playoff game, they would have drawn well, at least well enough to make a little profit. That $54k bid that ODU made, would have been covered easily at DPS. Not too many finance majors in the NSU admin.
They still were able to draw about 13-15k (reported 10k) for the Thursday night game against BCU.

Yes, it is prohibited. SIU came to UD in 2003 and complained about the UD band playing their traditional tunes in the 3rd quarter where sections of the band march through the stands. So the band was not allowed to perform as they had for as long as I've been alive. Perhaps SIU should have worried more about playing football.

Hey 93, where did you hide your yacht?
I came in on a mike boat and the sadistic bastard Navy petty officer dropped us off about 30 yards shy of the beach for no valid reason and it was f'ing freezing.

That was the snow game, right? I remember the much-touted SIU QB spent most of the afternoon running for his life ... or on his azz.

Shrinkage?
More like "disappearance". My berries reemerged about three days later.

Hey 93, you better change that avatar or else no free tickets to the UD-ODU game, no free alcohol, and no free food. So if you find a way to scrounge up the money to cross the Potomac or Chesapeake, no freebies for you. Your choice.

...yeah, that would be quite a swim
