Down 37-17 in the 4th quarter...UND scored 21 points to win the game and the GWFC Title (sharing it with Cal Poly). A great victory for the Sioux who end the year 8-3 (3-1) and recorded 5 FCS wins.

Thats life in the Great West. UND went from worst to first just like NDSU did (well not first but made the playoffs) in 2009-2010. This shows that UND can do 2 things..1. They can win on the road (3-2 (with those 2 losses FBS teams) and 2. UND never quits. We welcome the challenge in entering the BSC, and hope next season we can add our team to the question of where should we be seeded in the playoffs!! congrats to UND - having been here a few years ago - a word of caution... winning the Great West is one thing... winning in a power conference... quite another... the next few years will likely be equal parts exciting and frustrating...

Good point, they might struggle a bit at first. It's not as if they're moving to the MVFC.
