I have come to the conclusion it's time for me to say Adios to CS. Not that I haven't, and continue to enjoy my time here but

1. Some people apparently, even after more than 4K posts, feel I've neve contributed anything of substance.
Perhaps I haven't. I can't jusdge that but I sure have had a hell of a time not posting anything worth reading.
To those that won't miss me....your loss.
2. Got a replacement PC when my motherboard was crashing and I can't connect to CS form it. I have to use my laptop to get here and I don't use my laptop very much.


Although I may pop in from time to time it will be few and far between.
TXST is going FBS and I guess I have to go with them. So, I'll take my camera and media pass; gather up my pen, tablet and voice recorder and be on my way.

I really have had the best time on here than any other forum.

Ok, just got home from work so I'll try and answer some things.
I'm not leaving because of anything anyone has ever said to or about me on here. I stated before, if that was the case I would have left before I was a member for a month. Believe me, the "old guard" tested my mettle back then. With TXST going FBS and what I am taking on for the TXST Rivals site it's just a bit harder and, honestly, I don't know if I'll be keeping up with the FCS as much as I should to be a somewhat informed poster. Don't know if I'll post on the FBS board either. It will be a wait and see what I have time for as the next season approaches.

The being able to get here issue is real. Fact is, this AM all of our PCs were "connected to the internet" but could not get on. I can not get here from any of the PCs (3) in our house, nor my laptop, through the router and modem. ( another site we can not access is the local Austin paper) I can get here using a wifi connector on my laptop. My husband turned off his firewall and then was able to get online. My PC is back to being able to travel the internet but I still can not get here or statesman.com from it.

He thinks it may be the router going out on us. This all started last Tuesday (in some form or fashion) - the day after I got the new PC. (It's actually not new but they gave me this one as a trade for the one I took in to have the motherboard replaced)
