Best Performance: (#11) Montana 45, Weber St. 10 - Jordan Johnson throws for 299 yards & a school-record-tying 6 touchdowns—a school-record-tying 4 of them going to Jabin Sambrano—as the Griz rout the surprisingly listless Wildcats

Worst Performance: Sacramento St. 26, Northern Arizona 27 - With a playoff bid still a realistic possibility, the Hornets give up 246 rushing yards to Zach Bauman & fail on 2 extra points in the second half.

Most Surprising Result: Eastern Washington 26, Portland St. 43 - The Eagles—another team that had a good shot at the playoffs—are outrushed 338 to minus-1 by a Viking team that was missing their top running back.

* - I know UMass is still technically in the CAA this year, but I'm counting them as FBS and as a non-conference opponent for CAA teams.

Which is exactly why the most surprising game probably won't be that surprising.

The only other contender was UMass/Richmond, but UD surprised me more since they were (almost certainly) out of contention coming in.

I don't think it means though that they aren't as good a team IMO. I think its been proven that the conference this year is pretty even.
