I would take Carroll any day over Harbaugh. Harbaugh made Stanford good for a couple years. Yes, they were terrible before. So was USC when Pete took over. Pete turned USC into a college dynasty. Harbaugh is still largely unproven.
rofl, yeah, he took a storied ass program back to the top by bending the rules nine million times. Harbaugh kicked his ass with shit-ass Stanford and all the academic standard handicaps that brings with it. All this after Carroll had the recruiting advantage of 2 NCs and 3 Heisman winners and the allure of Southern Cali. Niners will be the best franchise in the West by next season at the latest. Cawks will continue their reign of historical irrelevance.

Bending the rules? No, one of his players was a greedy dumbass who took money. People looking for a reason to hate on the guy jump on board because of the sanctions handed down for the Bush fiasco.

Whiners will continue their reign of present-day irrelevance. They will never be the best franchise in the West with the York Family at the helm. Bunch of fuckin' amateurs.

And so the curse on the Seahawks OL since Hutch left continues. Okung gets his 3rd high ankle sprain in his 11th or 12th game... including preseason. :ohno: :ohno: :ohno: :ohno: :ohno:

T-Jax's numbers vs his old team thus far (with 2 min left int he first half)

Tarvaris Jackson 8/16 58 yards 0 td 1 int

By contract McNabb was 6/8 for 81 yards and Ponder is 1/4 for 19 yards (has looked like a rookie thus far...so exactly like Jackson  ).

He's also had two rookies and a backup LT protecting him on the line, who have only had a few weeks to practice with each other... same with Jackson and the rest of the team. But yeah, preseason numbers mean everything.

The Niners won't be back until a few years down the road, but I have faith they'll win the NFC West in at most 3 years, and sit back near the top as long as Harbaugh is there. He's the best coach we could have hoped for, and we got him.

SE can enjoy the Hawks reign of the NFC West for now when it's the worst conference in the NFL, but the Niners will be back.

To all the fans of teams that won today, I regret to inform you that you're out of the Andrew Luck Sweepstakes, because the Seahawks might go 0-16.

That sucks about the Eagles yesterday, SE, but at least you still have the Seahawks.

I mean, it's not like they're getting wasted by the "worst team in the NFC West." :coffee:

Honestly, for how terrible our O-Line looked, Jackson wasn't too bad. James Carpenter has to be the biggest bust of the 2011 draft at this point, taking him instead of Gabe Carimi just looks asinine at this point.

Out of 35 QB's that qualify for the new QBR Tavaris ranks 27th.

His stats are less than impressive as well compared to his Minnesota days. He actually as a worse TD:INT ratio, and his YPC is up less than a half yard and YPA is up less just .1 yard.

This season doesn't top his best season as a Viking....or his second best, honestly it may be his 4th best, as a passer.

As a rusher it is his second worst in his career

I know there is no bet on the table, but who would've won the bet had it been placed....if the season ended today.

The worst part of this is that Tavaris is still about 4000 times better than Charlie Whitehurst. You know you've reached a low point as a sports fan when you're legitimately excited (like I was yesterday) that an injured Tavaris is coming into the game.
