Should be a good second half. EWU defense has been on the field way too long, which is what I was afraid of. Good thing is that I don't think we turn it over on special teams inside our own 30 again in the second half. Only good thing is we held PSU to FG's on those TO's. That, and the tipped ball in the end zone was damn lucky. These should have just batted the ball down instead of going for a pick. Offense has been good, minus the early sacks. The lack of defense is what's killing us.

Going to be a good second half. They say you can do a lot out of the pistol and we've been showing it. Barnum (PSU OC, EWU alum) has added a few of his wrinkles into it. Burton has given him the OK to do that. Sometimes he looks like a genius, sometimes he looks like an idiot. Today, more like a genius than an idiot.

TV announcers getting better. The play by play guy is the one who does Gonzaga basketball (I think). The color guy needs to just stick to what he knows (PSU football he does not know).

The difference is we were able to get Sac in some critical 3 and outs in that game. We haven't been able to do that in this one. And then Mitchell with the pick - don't see us coming back in this one, unfortunately.....unless something really weird happens.
