Whiteout Conditions in the Northeast
Northeast games are going to be awesome (or suck if you're a QB) today!

yeah - i'm watching this on FCS East... the camera looks like snow goggles after a day of snowboarding... foggy and streaked... what a mess... - as an O lineman, I LOVED playing in snow games... the skill players hated it...
Albany seems to have found their bearings with this drive and are gashing Wagner on every down.

In my 9 years of playing football, I never got to play in the snow.TwinTownBisonFan wrote:yeah - i'm watching this on FCS East... the camera looks like snow goggles after a day of snowboarding... foggy and streaked... what a mess... - as an O lineman, I LOVED playing in snow games... the skill players hated it...

Lots of games in the rain and ice. Mud was the best, everyone is the same speed.

I played in 4 or 5 in all my years playing in pop warner and high school... my favorite was the 8th grade district championship game - inch an hour snowfall during the game - I recovered a fumble late in the third to quarter in the red zone - kept the drive alive that put us ahead... (of course, I also had allowed a strip sack in the second quarter that had put us behind... so redemption was nice)

It is raining tree limbs here in SE PA. I have 5 down in my yard right now and I'm sure there will be more. It's a heavy, wet snow and the trees still have most of their leaves. The oaks are holding up well, but the American Gum tree in my front yard is getting it's ass kicked.
The local HS football games scheduled for today have been postponed, good move since the roads suck and I haven't seen any plows. On the other hard, it would be awesome to watch and play in a game in this weather.

It's kinda clearing up in Boone after a dusting - still snowing a bit on the mountain-tops. Mid-30s with 10-20mph winds - not really getting any warmer.
