Shit, you're not that far out then. Fair Hill must be not too far. Pretty area. Used to ride my bike past the DP and straight out 273. :thumb:
I used to do that ride way back in the day!

When riding you bike, were you training for races or just for exercise?
Was just for fun. I lived between the main campus and north campus and there were back roads that few drove on. I could do a three state tour in an afternoon (only 3-4 miles to MD and PA). One day I made the mistake of going too far and ended up in PA closer to Wilmington so I biked to my parents house and got a ride back to campus (about 20 miles).

Andy - surprised how quiet the Towson board is. Not that I think UD is going to win - but do I need to go shake things up over there??

When is the Towson board not quiet? Some Terps fan was on there yesterday stirring shit up.

Eh, I could throw some smack around over there but it seems like you guys have like two more fans than Villanova does, don't know how far it would spice some things up.

The guy that "runs" the Towson board doesn't allow much fun to be had. He locks thread pretty quickly. And most of the guys that do post have fairly thin skin.

Is that the Matt guy? Is he like a former intern in the SID office that never got a real job? Who is he - what's he do - does he still live with his parents?

Shootout. 52 points scored in the first half. Didn't expect that.

So sad to not shake hands with all you UD cowards afterwards because you are such fair weather fans. A-holes.

Serioously, I was driving around the beltway in a downpour of sleet and snow wondering WHY THE FUCK AM I DOING THIS.

Thank god for the field house inside party. If we only had some kind of KO coverage. A=holes!

I'm speechless and pissed off and drunk as hell!

Does this mean we get to keep the Bridge for the 5th straight season? At least throw in Ambrose's wife...the novelty of possessing the bridge is starting to wear off.

Andy, get your coach under control. He's giving out "bullshit handshakes" and needs to "learn how to lose", according to future HOF Delaware coach and wunderkind KC Keeler.

I thought the RB's put on a show. West reminds me of his VU namesake - Brian Westbrook - he's a little heavier but otherwise brought up some bad memories.

Both OL's played very well & UD's KO return team looked awesome - apparently TU has had issues in that area. I was surprised to see Ambrose get a flag last night but them I was stunned to read today it was the 4th time this year he's been flagged for mouthing off.

Personally I think it was a dumb move by Towson to talk smack in warmups - Delaware had been asleep at the wheel all year long, and everyone knows the old saying "let sleeping dogs lie". Glad to see UD woke up last night & played with some fire in their bellies visibly for the 1st time all year.

In the end you can wrap it up by saying, "that's why we're Delaware and that's why they're Towson".

I really don't understand Andy's beef with bluehenbillk or Delaware fans in general. :coffee:

I blame it on Tubby - he probably never answered any of Andy's inquiries before matriculating at Towson. Andy just wants to be like us.

My next door neighbor in my previous home was the kicker/punter for DelState in the 92-94 timeframe. He hated Delaware with a passion and one day I asked why he hated us so much. He told me that he really wanted to go to Delaware and attended camps and whatnot, but Tubby wouldn't give him time of day. So, I understand Andy's hate. I've seen it before.

And unfortunately for all of us we have to unfairly suffer the barbs and misplaced hatred of those that were snubbed by Tubby. Bummer.
