montana black uni's? how is that ugly? not the best look with the helmet but its not that bad at all.

the sam houston was really bad.

one obvious one that comes to mind is montana's old colors. griz fans will disagree because it was their colors so they loved them just like weber has its purple which only weber fans like for the same reason.

weber's old uni's were pretty bad. white pants, purple jersey with really bad font and a white helmet was ugly. pretty much any white helmet is an ugly look.

White or grey lettering would of been better, but yeah. They were pretty badass and sleek. On the other hand the unis MSU was supposed to wear that game were terrible

Michigan has the ugliest uniforms. At least they went with a dark blue instead of royal blue. Royal blue would be absolutely hideous.

I would find it very hard to believe it was NIKE that designed them. My guess is they got some of the players input and made them off that advice...and as we can all see, was not the best advice.

I understand the orange was supposed to be the Montana orange that was on the old uniforms, but it just didn't pull it off.

In my opinion the key mistake that led to those black uniforms was failing to see the use of the copper throwbacks in the 2008 Brawl as a one-off. It was complete in and of itself. The emotional response to those uniforms could never be replicated, much less topped.
