A majority of everyone is in support of sensible banking reform and are opposed to all forms of crony anything. Are there people who are actually in favor of crony something? But the devil is in the details. We told banks that they can't make high risk loans with little money down and then we criticize them for not loaning money to people with bad credit histories and little cash up front. Details.
This movement is great at letting people vent their frustrations, and there are plenty of things to be frustrated about - it's a tough world out there. However, what it's not good at is letting people think that there is a simple answer out there that will make their lives easier without putting the effort in to make it easier. Life is tough and full of hardwork - get used to it. The sooner you realize that and get down to work the better. It's not sweat-shop days like the turn of the century either - there's plenty of fun to be had in life as well. But you still have to work hard at least 5 out of every 7 days.
