No, in other words I can't believe one person took the time to go frame by frame through a video to prove one poster wrong (when it was pretty obvious he was wrong to begin with) and said he should contact the CAA - when, as has been pointed out, if the CAA cared, they'd have done something already. More to the point, the coaching staff & university didn't put up with that nonsense. The kind of boorish behavior demonstrated by JMU players over the last several years at a minimum seems to be tolerated by Matthews and, perhaps, maybe even encouraged in some cases.

An incident sticks with me from a few years ago that I won't soon forget about how Matthews runs that program down there. After a close UD loss, several of Mickey's Monkeys made their way to the grandstand on the opposite side of the field to thump their chests and talk trash to the UD fans who were exiting the stadium. Just keeping it classy in the 'Burg.

The only JMU win in Newark in recent memory was 09', 20-8. Not exactly a close loss..

And way to inject race into it.

My point was that it could be perceived as such by others and I thought there was probably a better way to do that. If the song is henfan's explanation, that's fine, but it still ignores the negative connotation of the phrase.

henfan is not a fan of the way Mickey run his program. Mickey's players are...and have been...behaving like animals, on and off the field...for years...with apparent approval from Mickey. Mickey's Monkeys, again, refers to the team's actions under Mickey's command over his tenure at JMU (and in other UD/JMU bashing threads there have been multiple references to player behavior at Mickey's other stops).

So, the first conclusion that you draw from henfan's comment is that, over the years, it is only black players whose behavior is out of control? Seriously, you think the white players are the only ones capable of controlling their emotions when someone talks shits at them...and only white players the don't get arrested? That's some pretty odd stuff you have in your mind.

You should into the reasons for your reaction to henfan's statement rather than towards henfan's intentions.
