Re: Occupy Wall Street into 2nd week.. Blackout continues
Nope, GF it really is me. And AZ Griz is right on the money as well. It's the beginning of another turn of the cycle - class warfare. Cmon think back to junior HS & HS when you learned about feudal lords & tax collectors & what happened to them when the peasants massed & fought back.
Just saying, does anyone want to put an over/under on the the amount of time until a state has to call out the National Guard. It's all "hippies" if you want to call them that, but you just know that it'll start somewhere. It started in the streets of Boston in 1775, this thing will result in violence, book it.

The Matrix - that was one kick-ass trilogy!!GannonFan wrote:Huh? So who is supporting all these people? WHo is feeding them? Giving them water? What resources are they using to sustain life while protesting?
Also, i'msure they've trashed that park on Wall Street. Perhaps, there is a job oppurtunity there.
I bet Travis is there.

Maybe, but he'll leave once the daily grind of the protest starts to wear on him like a job.Ibanez wrote:

If someone makes it through the whole thing, let me know if they ever let the congressman speak.

Jesus - I'm going to walk over there and given them a wireless mic to pass around the crowd so they can stop the Monk-like monotone repeating.andy7171 wrote:WAKE UP!grizzaholic wrote:

For the life of me I do not understand why they are repeating everything said. Or why they are chanting it either. If anyone has a clue, please clue me in.danefan wrote:Jesus - I'm going to walk over there and given them a wireless mic to pass around the crowd so they can stop the Monk-like monotone repeating.andy7171 wrote: WAKE UP!

The congressman loks thrilled to be in the pressance of such greatness.

I think they're doing it to make sure everyone the back of the crowd can hear.andy7171 wrote:For the life of me I do not understand why they are repeating everything said. Or why they are chanting it either. If anyone has a clue, please clue me in.danefan wrote:

Makes sense for the situations where the people from the crowd are talking, but they guy on the platform has a freaking megaphone.
Re: Occupy Wall Street into 2nd week.. Blackout continues
I have no opinion on these protests and neither do I really care, but two of my friends are part of this right now. Both of them are recent university graduates and still jobless since May; one has a degree in English and the other...and this is no joke...Craft Studies.

I think it started in NYC because they were forbidden from using a megaphone. Perhaps their carrying on the tradition. They look pretty stupid doing it though.andy7171 wrote:For the life of me I do not understand why they are repeating everything said. Or why they are chanting it either.
