Total offense 93-1 for SIU. I am sure Bohl will get his players ready for quarter #2. Why didn't SIU go for FG's? Points are points.

but then, I can see going for it on 4th and goal from inside the 1.

and the second one would have been a 42-yarder (dunno the wind situation). not sure how good of a kicker SIU has this year

It could cost them later on, it hurt SUU against UND last week. Plus since they are at home I thought you go for the FG and if you are on the road you go for the TD..or something like that.

Not surprised in either case - down at the 1 you have little to lose... as for the 42 yarder... I think the thought was that it's a long kick... and the bison had been giving up 5-6 yards at a crack... odds were decent they'd make it...

considering he went to snap it, pulled it back, and then snapped it (if you can call it that), I think the snap-infraction call was pretty obvious.

though I would have laughed if the refs decided to let play continue.
