got it - so despite the fact that Fox has the highest ratings, they aren't "mainstream"... :dunce:
Fox doesn't call them tea baggers and make constant attempts to vilify them. :dunce:

The only ones who call them "tea baggers" are the Olbermann-type talk show hosts...

the same way FOX talkers constantly call it the "Democrat" Party instead of the Democratic Party.

Is it all petty and childish? sure... but that's what poli-talk shows are all about... watch them like sports talk - not news... because that's what they are.

It's petty and small, and that's my point.

I remember the childish Anthony Wiener "Republic Party" rant that put that bozo on the national map. And look what happened to him.

Maybe their popularity is hurting because of:

a) Who they're represented by and who's going after their support - Bachmann, Palin, and Perry

b) Who they're funded by - Dick Armey and the Kochs.

Fox does some really dumb things. I never understood why they insisted on spelling Usama, everyone else spelled it Osama and Usama has USA in it.

Also, they started refering to "suicide bombers" as "homicide bombers". Seems to me, if you blow yourself up (with or without other victims) you're a suicide bomber. If you blow up others, but not yourself (i.e. the Unibomber) then you are a homicide bomber. The name they choose was less accurate.

As far as petty and small, MSNBC might be number 1, but nobody watches. Fox is number 2, but they are worse than MSNBC becuase a lot of people watch.

Their Klaverns are underground. They're still out there. Good, god-fearing Klan.

If you are going to embark upon a nationwide tea-bagging campaign, you are going to need a Dick Armey.
