Bison finish off Illinois St 20-10.

Not the best game of the year for the Bison - some ugly penalties that kept this game closer than it needed to be - but a win is a win... Bison now 4-0 on the year.

Lots of penalties in this one. 4 false starts and at least 2 holding penalties on the Bison that stalled some drives. I thought the defense came up big when they needed to.

Definitely a let down from last weeks game, but a W non the less.

Side note, Impressive win by UNI. I thought that one would be A LOT closer than the ending score.

And I think the past two performances of SIU shows they are at best a middle of the pack team this year. It is NDSU-UNI-INSU's league to lose this year. YSU-ILSU-SIU in the middle, and SDSU-WIU-MSU at the bottom.

I agree that SIU is knocked down a few pegs after another bad performance. But I'm not ready to put In St in the top tier yet...

Agreed, not sure if ISU Blue is consistent enough to be considered top tier yet.

Yeah to me this is a big test for them, SDSU isn't great but they are very tough at home. An elite MVFC team would go in and take care of business...still plenty of time left though.

Okay, but WIU may have the worst offense in the MVFC this season. Giving up 27 to them, in my eyes, is the reason you lost.
