LOL! He could just have his wife set up a paypal video site of her playing with her tits all day long to get the extra gas money. God knows I'd subscribe, watch, and burn the epidermis highway all day long looking at it.
Re: Anwar al-Awlaki Killed in Yemen
I never knew that Saudi law forbids the burial of a non-muslim in Saudi soil.
Very telling of that religion. They deserve all the pain that we can inflict on them.

I thought we were in WW3. THink about it...ASUG8 wrote:D1B wrote:

We wouldn't dare shoot ourselves in the foot with the Saudis and our continued reliance on oil imports, and Iran would likely be the beginning of WWIII.

No, it's the war against the third world...semantics, but slightly different.Ibanez wrote:I thought we were in WW3. THink about it...ASUG8 wrote:

Re: Anwar al-Awlaki Killed in Yemen
Good riddance.
Came from that same mosque in Falls Church, VA where:
-Awlaki was an imam
- 2 of the 9/11 hijackers and the Ft Hood shooter attended (2001)
-Fort hood shooter Nidal Hassan attended (2001)
-Ahmed Omar Abu Ali, who was convicted of providing material support to al Qaeda and conspiracy to assassinate President George W. Bush, worshiped and taught Islamic studies at the mosque (2001).
-Abelhaleem Hasan Abdelraziq Ashqar, a member of the mosque's Executive Committee, was convicted in November 2007 of contempt and obstruction of justice for refusal to testify before a grand jury with regard to Hamas, and sentenced to 135 months in prison
-phone number for the mosque was found in the Hamburg, Germany, apartment of one a planner of the September 11 attacks, Ramzi bin al-Shibh.
"Jeffrey Goldberg, in his 2008 book Prisoners: A Story of Friendship and Terror, characterizes Dar Al-Hijrah as an openly political mosque that has conducted militant Friday sermons, especially prior to the September 11 attacks.[75] The Washington Post reported that its leaders have strongly criticized U.S. law enforcement actions against Muslims and U.S. policies in the Middle East.[5] The Washington Post also reported that the mosque is closely affiliated with the Muslim American Society, which has been linked to the Muslim Brotherhood."

Was he still a citizen, or did he give it up at some point?
Re: Anwar al-Awlaki Killed in Yemen
That doesn't matter. He betrayed his country and incited violence against it.Grizalltheway wrote:Was he still a citizen, or did he give it up at some point?

So Due Process goes out the door?
Shouldn't a jury decide that? Isn't that the Constitution?

Evidence suggests he was killed "by the Yemeni's" I suspect because of these concerns precisely. I also think this is why the story has changed quite a bit since this morning...dbackjon wrote:Ibanez wrote: That doesn't matter. He betrayed his country and incited violence against it.

Regardless of his nationality, he wished harm on innocent Americans. Just because you are an American doesn't mean you can use our freedoms against us. FUck him, he deserved to be blown to bits by a drone.TwinTownBisonFan wrote:Evidence suggests he was killed "by the Yemeni's" I suspect because of these concerns precisely. That's just a Saudi thing...it really says nothing of the religion itself.93henfan wrote:I never knew that Saudi law forbids the burial of a non-muslim in Saudi soil.
Very telling of that religion. They deserve all the pain that we can inflict on them.
The only rules in the Quran concerning Islamic burials are:
-Deceased must be washed and buried within 24 hours.
-Must be wrapped in a white sheet.
-Must be buried in a Muslim cemetary.
-Must face Mecca.
Saudi Arabia's culture just likes taking things to the extreme. Their interpretation of a "Muslim cemetary" is apparently the whole fuckin' country.

Flashback from the NY times
Flashback from the NY times
October 19, 2001 — NY Times
Imam Anwar Al-Awlaki, spiritual leader at the Dar al-Hijra mosque in Virginia, one of the nation’s largest, which draws about 3,000 worshipers for communal prayers each Friday, said: “In the past we were oblivious. We didn’t really care much because we never expected things to happen. Now I think things are different. What we might have tolerated in the past, we won’t tolerate any more.”
”There were some statements that were inflammatory, and were considered just talk, but now we realize that talk can be taken seriously and acted upon in a violent radical way,” said Mr. Al-Awlaki, who at 30 is held up as a new generation of Muslim leader capable of merging East and West: born in New Mexico to parents from Yemen, who studied Islam in Yemen and civil engineering at Colorado State University.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair or fucking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back. Al Swearengen
