Why is it a cop out? Because it requires you accepting a burden for one of your pet causes? I think all animals should be given homes to live, there should be mandated neutering and spaying of animals and no kill shelters. However, I don't expect others to have a mandated amount taken from their paycheck so animals could live a certain way I deem appropriate. You're mandated care makes them wards of the state. And I don't think they've all made some glorious mistake, I just happen to be fine with the idea that not all people live at the same levels as mandated by the state.

Without actually getting into it I would imagine the game assumes a 40 hour work week.
Just about every successful person I know works way more than 40 hours... heck, I work 70+ hours a week because it is MY business, MY reputation, MY career, MY family, MY income, MY legacy. Therefore, I want and will have the best for all those "my's."

I do 40-50 hours a week, unless it's "Go-Time". THen it'll be 65-75 hour weeks.

Made it through the second time with $529 to spare. Gave the dog to the pound, put the kid in the gifted progam, lived on hotdogs, spaghetti and top ramen, left my kid in the free lunch program, skipped out on the free concert and used free wi-fi at the public library. Opted out of healthcare early on in the process, but I was in a temp admin job anyways so it isn't something that would be offered to a temp.
