TTBF, I think you may have missed the post where I stated I made a mistake.
For the record I agree with your take on the situation. I realize that I don't post on this site very often but I have lurked since I registered back in '07. When I started to become more active recetly I don't think i prepared well enough for the jbb/lakes effect. I'll work on that.

But I get it now. If we only stick to the future, ie the Bison's next game, you cannot be proven wrong and NDSU can claim a win...then immediately after the game you are onto next week and are winners again.

We arent Montana. We arent like most FCS schools. We dont prance around after an FBS loss and tell everybody how good we are. We win the big BCS/FBS games and then tell everyone how good we are. Last year the BISON defeated a charter member of the Big 12, The Kansas Jayhawks.

NDSU just announced a game with Iowa in 2016. NDSU recruits the best athletes. The win against Kansas brought in a couple guys that said it was a big deal in their decision.
I have no idea where UND recruits but I can see by the quality of the players and the record since moving into transition they should be looking elsewhere. They have Black HIlls State coming in this weekend so I guess they do a lot of recruiting out in the Black HIlls. Maybe a lot in Sioux Falls too because they schedule where they recruit!

Plus, it will be worth a $500,000 guarantee to NDSU.
Note: Dr. Taylor touches a bit on the "NDSU Scheduling Model", something we have been discussing here most of the year. Of course I am happy to report more and more schools, especially BSC ie. Montana & EWU, are learning the ins and outs of the strategy that has led to fame and fortune for NDSU.

UND recruits west, which makes being in the Big Sky even better. The BHSU game is a cheap money game. Also don't think you are going to march into Iowa and whoop the Hawkeyes. Kansas was in the cellar of the Big 12, Iowa is towards the top of the Big 10. This also ain't the Gophers. Expect a beating.

wow, very surprising to see that ndsu is playing Iowa. The bizon have consistently proven that they will only play terrible BCS programs. Playing a good program like Iowa very out of character for ndsu. Jabber might have to settle for a moral victory on that day.

Well our recruits are only freshman and sophomores so I think this season may show us where we are before hitting Big Sky play next year. Sorry we can't be #1 ranked like NDSU was in transition then win 9 games the next 2 years following transition. I hope UND takes a higher road.
