Unfortunately, there is no point discussing the game on this forum because as soon as any Bison fan contributes something they get jumped on by everyone else and the thread gets derailed within the first page of any Bison related thread.

You alienate everyone around you even your fellow Bison fans. How can you not see that? If you can, why do you do it?

lakes and JBB get both what they want and deserve around here. They spew nonsense, rampant and blind homerism and boosterism to the point that they either ignore or are incapable of seeing their teams flaws and weaknesses. They are the "Superfans" of SNL fame, writ on the FCS level.

No no - they start thread after thread doing one of two things - 1. describing how the Bison will find a way to win the FCS Championship this and every year 2. Bashing and attacking UND (a team we haven't played in nearly a freaking decade) - but only to prove how "over" UND they are...

These ass-clowns have done their level best to ensure that the entirety of the online FCS fan community regards NDSU as the Notre Dame of FCS. The one everyone loves to see lose, if only to shut up their loud-mouthed, cocky and full-of-shit fans.

It's jokers like them that have done such a good job of undermining how awesome the last decade has been for me as a fan of the program. To see the incredible success in going D-I, making the NCAA tournament, making the FCS playoffs... but guys like this - filled with message board machismo - boast that not only did we win the Summit League - we'll beat Kansas and roll to the elite 8... not only did we make the FCS playoffs in our third year of eligibility, we'll roll to Frisco... and when we fell short, the collective schadenfreude from the broader community could only be expected.

Honestly - I love watching the rest of this community beat these idiots to a pulp on a regular basis. Hijacking their nonsensical threads about how many touchdowns the Bison will beat LSU by in a hypothetical game - or boasting about how the serviceable and decent Fargodome is somehow a top 10 FCS facility - or talking about moving up to FBS because we've "proven ourselves already" in the FCS - is exactly what should happen to mindless spam.

They have a reputation - they've earned it. Until proven otherwise, every word they type is likely the dumbest thing you will read in a given day... and this is a message board with D1B and JoltinJoe... so think about that...

As an NDSU fan who believes we ought to be humble in victory and gracious in defeat, the only thing better than the daily battering these fools take would be for them to either get a clue, or fade away.

Does NDSU have a long term contract with Minnesota (like a every other year or every 2 year thing)? Is NDSU going to try going after other Big 10 regional schools like Nebraska, Iowa, or Wisconsin? Or just stick with Minny.

No on going contract with Minnesota. NDSU has beaten Kansas, Ball State, Central Michigan and Minnesota. We have lost to Wyoming, Iowa State and Minnesota. We are scheduling all of the midwestern FBS/BCS schools we can. There was talk of both Nebraska and Wisconsin.

I think the play up days are numbered. In a couple years these games wont be there. Thats why we have to enjoy them now.
