Nope, nor will it excuse them when Northern Colorado kicks their ass in Greeley in a few weeks. Something none of them thinks is a possibility right now.

You heard it here first.

Only once in the 5 year series between Weber State and Northern Colorado has the game been decided by more than 8 points

2010: 50-47 (4OT) WSU win
2009: 28-20 WSU win
2008: 17-10 WSU win
2007: 23-0 WSU win
2006: 26-21 WSU win

Northern Colorado is never a guaranteed win

Maybe not quite as difficult but this is a whopper of a schedule for Cal Poly...as always

at San Diego State (FBS Bowl Winner possible top 35 team and pissed that CP had a two game win streak)

at Montana (Montana nuff said)

South Dakota State (Receiving Votes)

at Northern Illinois (FBS Bowl Winner possible top 35 team...stuffed the triple option against Army)

Central Oklahoma (just to make it that much harder to reach 7 D1 wins)

Southern Utah (Great West Champs)

at North Dakota (give Cal Poly fits..especially on the road just ask Darell)

South Dakota (Receiving Votes)

at UC Davis (Rivalry game at Davis...also receiving votes)

Eastern Washington (National Champs)

at South Alabama (Currently undefeated and still across the Country)

No not at all....I am suggesting that the DII game does not help them get to 7 D1 wins (assuming we win  )

Weber's last win in Missoula was in 1987.

UNC averages one conf. win a year; it's usually ISU, but it may have to be somebody else this year.

if you are implying unc will beat griz that is doubtful. it will be isu or no one.

Hey there's an idea, maybe if I can be reborn, I may be able to change Weber's ill-fortune and turn them into the Big Sky Powerhouse, crazy it just might work

Of course there's always that chance I would come back as a............. Utah State fan (shudders)

that is a tough schedule. so who claims it? my only comment would be that those fbs teams are much better than the ones weber played but i think who the fbs teams are is a moot point, an fbs game = a loss regardless of who it is against. and yes i am aware of the 2 fcs wins over fbs out of the 175+ games that will be played.

that is a rough schedule though, who ever has it is gonna have some fun this yr.
Missouri State, the only Mo Valley team not on that schedule.

That is correct. First four games on the road? That's an absolutely brutal schedule! I don't see how you could argue against it. CPAlum makes a good arguement however. On the brightside for the Bears, last year they went undefeated at home so maybe they could collect some wins, I don't see too many though :coffee:

Griz won in Ogden in '06.
sorry, need to clarify my hopeful prediction...

griz @ weber
2006: griz
2008: weber
2010: weber
2012: nov 3
2014: no game; new big sky messed that up
2016:

2013 and 2015 are both in missoula which means 2 in a row at UM. so IF weber wins the 2012 game it would be a 10 yr span.

new Huge Sky has some major cons.
