Thats your personal opinion. Up to this point you have proven to be a vulgar loud mouthed thug. Do you have anything of substance to offer?

The NDSU Program is special in the FCS world because:

1) It is in the top 10 nationally for attendance.
2) It is competitive year in and year out on a national level
3) It has been competitive for several generations
4) It has been competitive at different levels of the NCAA hierarchy of divisions.
5) It has been involved nationally, regionally and locally with advancing the interest of the NCAA and its members
6) It has been instrumental in promoting division 1 athletics to the universities in the Dakotas and the fans, as has SDSU.
7) NDSU is a member of the Dakota Big 3.

NDSU has a nice program. Probably one of the best in FCS, but they are still in their FCS infancy and have done next to nothing at this level yet.

You have every right to be optimistic about your teams future, but you shouldn't act like NDSU is God's gift to FCS. Win 6 FCS titles first, or 3 titles in a row, or make the playoffs 15 straight years and then you can brag.

The thing that makes this game unique is the natural rivalry, how it flurished in the early days, died out because of the size difference between the schools and is now renewing because of the growth at NDSU. The last two Gopher games were the biggest games in NDSU history and the BISON win, sorry Montana, was the biggest win in BISON history.

Football is a major sport. The Minnesota Gophers are a major competitior in a major conference. They have a roster full of great players. They look physical, they look lean, they look tall and they look fast. They can run, throw catch and tackle. So can the BISON.

Coach Bohl is going to bring some guys with him that can play the game. The Coach knows Division 1 football. He knows what it takes to win. NDSU didnt just stumble on a sudden win against Minnesota. Coach Bohl and Gene Taylor designed it. It took a couple yrs. It took a game against Ball State. Then Central Michigan. It took recruiting and coaching. Suddenly we had the game!

Before we knew it the Gophers wanted a second game the following year. It was a desperate scheduling need. Against The Coaches advice Taylor made the deal. It was a blessing in disguise. The BISON lost that first game by a whisker. Their great plan had failed. The climax came with the missed FG late. It was a huge loss for NDSU. But football is a game of redemtion! Gene Taylor had the rematch.

Now the modern series stands at 1-1. This might be it for NDSU/Minnesota until NDSU finds its way into the FBS ranks, so its for "All the Marbles".
