Dont you think that had more to do with Idaho? After all, they established their dominace with that drive at the end of the first half. After that it was over. The half time score had little to do with UND. This game was all about Idaho.

It had to do with Mussman not firing up his players. You are leading a FBS team at the half and you walk out of the locker room like your dog died. Get fired up take it to em and get the W. Don't piss around and think Idaho is going to roll over and give you the game. So Mussman has 1 more shot over the big boys until Oct 1 at Southern Utah. We have Black Hills State at home on the 24th and so help me God the pitchforks will be out if Mussman pisses that game away like the Sioux Falls game.

Early in todays game I thought UND had what it takes to beat the BISON. They were aggresive to the ball, they were hitting hard, they were moving and shaking, but it all went away. I think an NDSU/UND game would look a lot like this game.

Most likely. This team is moving up at a snails pace. We need to start searching for a good head coach. Maybe hit the FBS teams like NDSU did. But success starts at the top. Without a good coach your team doesn't go anywhere.

Back when Lennon left I criticized UND for trying to get by on the cheap hiring a coach without experience.

One of the great advantages NDSU had was hiring a big time D1 Coach to lead the program. Thats one of the reasons NDSU is a national power house.

When I pointed this out to the UND fans on AGS there was a huge uproar, mods were contacted, pouting by UND fans ensued, there were insults and snide remarks. Oh the outrage! The UND fans whinned so much about that I got a month suspension or something.

Now its a known fact. Once again I was simply ahead of the curve.

Wow! I just visited the UND board http://www.siouxsports.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;. Couple things:

Football is not the crown jewel in the UND sports program so the state of the program is not really important to them.

They want to fire the football coach!

Heres an interesting example of the types of things being said up there:
OxBow6 wrote:The time to let Muss go was after last season. Now UND is stuck with him for at least 3 more years...counting this one. UND will not fire him prior to the FB program entering the Big Sky next year and he'll get a minimum of 2 years in Big Sky conference as UND won't can him after just one year in the Big Sky.

He's teams are undisciplined, his offensive philosophy is a step up from MN 9-man coaching and he has created no excitement for the program since he arrived. But if his teams can continue to go "toe to toe" with the rest of the opponents on this year's schedule, he'll be just fine?!?!?
That bolded/underlined statement is flat out wrong. This rube must have forgotten about the big moral upset win at Texas Tech. At that time the UND program was riding high. A wave of pride was sweeping the program according to Head Coach Chris Mussman. It was the most exciting time in UND Football History. It was the biggest moral victory in school history!
