I think the difference between USU's game at Auburn this year and the one at Oklahoma last year, is that when USU finally fell behind in this game 28-24, USU came back to put two more touchdowns on the board. In both games, I expected at half-time the home team to make the required adjustments. USU couldn't close it out today, but they didn't give up. Also, the stats were pretty heavy in USU's favor. Their new quarterback--true freshman--looked really good.

Now, would I rather be my alma mater, Utah, winning, but looking pretty anemic offensively against a good FCS team like Montana State, or USU losing a heartbreaker at Auburn in front of 85,000 fans (ok, not that many when they ended up losing)? Tough question, but I'll take the win, ugly as it was. I do wonder if there is anyway we can trade quarterbacks with USU. Right now, I'll take Utah's position over Oregon State's, with Oregon State down 14-3 to CSU-Sacramento at the half.

While I am discussing Utah schools and Big Sky schools, let me just say "go Wildcats, beat Wyoming."
