I felt like the SUU vs. SDSU game is of really high playoff significance. It's very easy to go with southeast bias in favor of Furman vs. Coastal, but I think both teams really know what they need to do to get into the Playoffs. They'll have plenty of competitive opportunities. SUU is always out there with something to prove.

It's SUU's QB I'd be willing to pay to see.

They are still I-AA even though they are ineligible for anything (kinda like Harvard).
The move to the MAC is paying off for UMass ... They have finally been judged to be Harvard's equal.

:? Are they trying to prove they can win more than 6 games in a season for the first time in over a decade (that's as far back as I can find on ncaa.com)?

Furman and Coastal! This will be a great game. REally, the series is 1-1 so CCU can upset the Furminators.

Several spotlight games on the list. Lafayette @ NDSU BISON offers the nation a competitive game between two programs with great traditions and a lot of experienced, talented athletes on the field. It will be played in one of the nations great venues. Its certainly my choice.

Furman and Coastal

I want The Vermin 8-0 and top 10 in Brooks Stadium on Nov 5th, so the Hillbillies can break their hearts. It will be interesting to see what Coastal brings to the table after a taste of the playoffs last year, in a game they could have easily won against WIU.

You may be right for SUU. Playing out of the GWC all games are important because you need an at-large invite.

For SDSU if they dont get the auto bid they will probably be out of the playoff picture so this game really has no playoff impolications for them.

The NDSU game will highlight some of the nations top talent and will be a real game of interest. It looks like 3 spotlight games of national significance are starting to emerge in this poll.

Lafayette-NDSU for me. Leopards take longest road trip ever. At least it will feel that way!

Yeah, the 9 NDSU fans on this board voted for your game, and everyone else applied objectivity to the question.

Whatever? The vote is what it is. The Big Spotlight games are emerging, even against a tide of anti-NDSU sentiment expressed by folks like AzGrizFan.

The NDSU BISON host the Lafayette Leopards, Pards as they like to say, in a national spotlight contest.

Since this is such a big game, your words not mine, what national channel will it be showing because I would like to catch it. ESPN? ESPN2? PPV?

I don't think I get ESPN 8, or THE OCHO as it is called.

Yes, the vote is what it is. 9 NDSU homers voting for their own meaningless game, and the other voters using objectivity when casting their votes.

JBB, you do understand that being a supporter of the home team and being a homer are two different things...right? Everyone should be a supporter of their chosen team but should also be able to take the (insert school colors here) colored glasses off and be objective about other teams and their games whether you like them or not.

I just hold out hope that if something is said enough times he will finally GET IT. Similar to training a dog to piss outside and not on your laptop.
