If this keeps coming, will the FBS brownie points still be there? Now, I'm starting to get worried about that.
Worry about winning the game. Even if the entire starting lineup is injured, a FBS win is a FBS win.

And regardless, OSU is not Michigan, or even Va Tech.

the only big sky team that is going to beat an fbs this year is future member suu.

i think sac could very easily be heading to ogden 0-2. @ oregon state and then @ suu.

as good as sac is going to be you really gotta look at their schedule and think...DAMN!

Sep 3 @ Oregon St
Sep 10 @ SUU
Sep 17 @ Weber St (i believe sac as 0 wins at weber)
Sep 24 Montana (i believe sac has 0 wins against griz home or away)
Oct 1 @ Montana St

but then again there be a first for everything, weber did some things in 2008 i never thought i would see...such dropping 80 on the montanas and even winning those games. :thumb:

as far as i am concerned no guaranteed win until Oct 8 @ UNC (sorry unc fans).

SUU has never beaten a BSC team (knock on wood) and Sorensen will be breaking in a new group of WR's. If Nash and Co can get after Sorensen and pressure his ass all day, we'll be fine.

SUU can't even keep a 4-6 team from winning a league title. No reason to believe they're going to do any better in the Sky.

Huh? SUU has several wins over Big Sky teams. Not under the current coach I don't think, but they still have some.

SUU is 12-47-1 all time vs the Big Sky (1 win vs EWU, 4 wins vs ISU, 1 win vs UM, 3 wins vs NAU, and 3 wins vs WSU). They are 19-60-1 all time vs current Big Sky teams, and 5-6 all time vs Sac St (0-1 while Sac St was a member of the Big Sky). Their last wins vs Big Sky teams were in 2004, when they beat ISU and WSU. Their current coach, Ed Lamb, has been head coach since 2008.

I stand corrected. I thought I saw someone post that they never beat a BSC team. Maybe be it was never beat a BSC team under Coach Lamb. Regardless we’ll be facing a must win in week 2 if we are to have any hope in making the playoffs.

I know we've drifted from the topic at hand, but OSU has had two starters go down to injury in the last two days... lol

this is the same type of comment we are making about why sac wont be good because they haven't done much in the past. this is a new year. exectations are very high for both suu and sac. both could/should be ranked already.

this is not an automatic win by any means for sac facing one of the best qb's in the nation.

dont focus too much on last season when looking at suu for this year. suu would be a big sky contender if they were a member this year.
