D2 used to play a similar all-star game in Fargo. They called it the snow bowl.
I like this concept and hope it can catch on. Its a tough go though. It takes a lot of media cooperation to sell the tickets. The Snow Bowl lasted about 3 years then moved downt to Tx. someplace. I dont know if they still play it or not.
Good luck to this effort. Ill certainly be watching.
Dear Lord, We come before you and humbly ask you to grant our prayer for a veil of protection to be placed over Donald Trump. May your will be done. In Jesus name we pray. Amen
Why at the VA Beach Sportsplex? That place just reinforces the notion that FCS programs are small-time and don't have great stadiums. I mean an FCS school has the best football facility in all of Hampton Roads, so why not showcase the FCS brand by playing the all-star game there?
WIth major expansions and renovations at JMU and Liberty, and the clamshell appeal of ODU, why would they hold it at the SPortsDump?
I can see why they wouldn't want it at the UR high school football/track and field complx, but there are really good options if the plan is to hold it in Virginia.
When Maxine Waters reaches the pearly gates, I hope St. Peter bitch-slaps her with a large, wet teabag

I even think holding it at Norfolk State is a better option.
Anyway this is great for FCS players to prove to NFL scouts what they are all about.
