I feel that one of the Ivy League schools might provide some competition for premier FCS athletic program. Some of the CAA schools are successful in a number of sports.

yes that sounds right, but on the other hand, most bigtime bison fans know the talent on the NDSU teams is above most FCS teams. Injuries, crappy calls (ewu) and O Coord in the last UNI game have been the only things stopping NDSU.

dont worry, UNI will feel the wrath this year.

Minnesota (lost by 1 in last second FG, Pounded them next game, 2011)
SDSU (NDSU owns them in bball 10 straight wins, and SDSU won 2 fb games)
UNI (NDSU lost 3 straight now with 3 very badly played games)

Plus, Montana has had the HEX on em for years, thank you very much . Deleware chokes on its own.

In the past 3 years they have had 11 NCAA post season appearences in the 4 "major" NCAA sports (Men's BB & FB and Women's BB & VB). The next closest of the 132 FCS schools has 6 appearences.
