Who are we playing.... Southern Utah

Am I going........yup

the atmosphere........blah

attendance............for the last few years, Weber's largest cowds of the year have come during homecoming, last season Weber had over 10,000 against UC Davis, this year we play SUU, in a long anticipated game under the Stadium lights. If Weber is having a good season, I would say 12k, but normally 8-10K

Who is your team playing?
-Indiana State
Are you going?
-Yes
How is the atmosphere at your your school?
-It's loud, but a metal roof with do that for any sized crowd really I guess
How about the attendance?
-Sell out - between 16,500-17,400

bonus question for all: does your homecoming attendance depend on the opponent? Or will it draw well regardless?
-Homecoming always seems to draw close to capacity at UNI.
Does your school play an easy game? A rival? Random opponent?[/quote]
-It seems we always end up with Indiana State (turrible team) or Southern Illinois (Biggest/only rival in the conference...the joke is the rivalry trophy for this game is the MVFC title)

Family weekend is the other weekend that draws no matter who we play....but the atmosphere for that game sucks because it's a bunch of parents, younger siblings, and grandparents who don't know shit about UNI football but go because their kid is a student. They all clear out by the end of the third and then the atmosphere starts to get better actually.

It seems between family weekend and homecoming the most common opponents on those dates are SIU, ISUB, or ISUR.

Many UNI fans wish they would never put SIU as a homecoming or family weekend game. Granted homecoming against SIU is freaking insane in terms of atmosphere, but that game will sell a shit ton of tickets no matter what weekend it is. There is no need to waste a homecoming for family weekend worth of ticket sales on them. Bring in some OOC team for family weekend (SUU, if we could ever play them before the last week or two of the season, SFA, St. Francis, etc...) and then some conference team that would draw average or so (Illinois State, Indiana State, WIU) for homecoming.

To answer my bonus questions, Southern's homecoming draws well no matter the opponent. For years Nicholls St was the homecoming opponent. Texas Southern was the opponent for a few years. Now its pretty random as homecoming now takes place on one of the first two saturdays of October.

JMU homecoming playing, not certain but could be Maine, it's not a huge rival, I know that...

Hoping HC maxs out at 27,000+...

Atmosphere is good every game, this one is a beer fest +1
James Madison University --- Better than you since 1908...

Are you going: Certainly planning to unless I get a job out of town
How is the atmosphere at your your school? Its a full weekend experience and Liberty football (even without the alcohol SENOREIDA) is becoming one of the best football atmospheres at the FCS level in the state
How about the attendance? I'll go so far as to say that we could break 20,000 especially if the Flames are on a major roll coming into the game

Do people sneak in alcohol, anyway, ever, or do you have God Stormtroopers patrolling for it? Jesus drank wine, you know...........

Who is your team playing? Towson
Are you going? Possibly, moving back down to Florida temporarily in 2 weeks so I'm trying to decide between going to Towson, JMU, or UMass if I make the trip back to ODU for a game
How is the atmosphere at your your school? Amazing, every game is a sellout at ODU.
How about the attendance? Like I said, every game this year will be a definite sellout.
