South Carolina signs thier immigration law

The changes in law require police in South Carolina to call federal immigration officials if someone is suspected of being in the country illegally.

And it creates a new police force to enforce a law that would also make it a felony to make fake photographic identification for illegal immigrants. People convicted of that felony could face $25,000 fines and five years in prison.
This is ridiculous! I have no problem with most of these laws but we're going to create a new police force?! Haley is ending all..ALL FUNDING FOR THE ARTS. On top of that, she's going to veto $1.3 million for Law Enforcement!!

What I don't get is why police need to use their judgement to decide if someone might be an illegal? Shouldn't checking their ID and running their name and plates through the system do that work for them?

South Carolina tries but lacks instinct.
