Come on. Libya is NOTHING compared to mess W created, illegally, in Iraq and legally but fucked, in Afghanistan.

Hey, Obama aint perfect, but we would be in much better shape right now if W was never elected. You know this is the truth. All of you fucks know this so so STFU and move on. :ohno:

They wouldn't have started the war in Iraq and bankrupted the nation. They wouldn't have alienated the rest of the world. They would have been smart about shit across the board. They wouldn't have had anything to do with Dick Cheney and Don Rumsfield who fucked up everything.

Anything else, Sam?
"Sarah Palin absolutely blew AWAY the audience tonight. If there was any doubt as to whether she was savvy enough, tough enough or smart enough to carry the mantle of Vice President, she put those fears to rest tonight. She took on Barack Obama DIRECTLY on every issue and exposed... She did it with warmth and humor, and came across as the every-person....it's becoming mroe and more clear that she was a genius pick for McCain."

Gore would be riding around in a bulletproof Prius or golf cart. The US populace wanted blood by a wide margin post 9/11, and I'd be curious to see what Gore would have done about it. I disagreed with the Iraq invasion, since if you're going to define an axis of evil we picked on the little sister of the bunch and certainly didn't want to pick a fight with Iran or N. Korea. America would have demanded some action from any prez at the time, but I just don't know if Gore had the cojones to make the call.

I never said we wouldn't be better if W wasn't elected, but that's not the issue. You're the one that said Obama was cleaning up Bush's mess. I asked how involving us in yet another conflict overseas is cleaning up Bush's mess...a question you deflected rather than answered. This is not a defense of Bush, far from it. I'm just curious why you rail against Iraq and Afghanistan (which I am in agreement) and aren't railing against Lybia... :ohno:

I think you might have an easier time just bashing Bush than trying to build up Obama. The truth of the matter is, they appear to be cut from the same cloth--which is unfortunate.

I don't think the Clinton decision to lob cruise missiles at Bin Laden in '98 really endeared us to al Queda or other extremists in the Middle East. They were already targeting our embassies, Marine barracks, and warships.

Fuck you, you know W was a fucking retard and puppet for religious wingnuts and warmongers, like you.

Kerry and Gore would have been able to figure shit out for themselves versus having Donnie and Dickie calling all the shots.

Half correct. Bush was a puppet idiot...and you're correct...Gore and Kerry wouldn't have been puppets.

Where you fail is your assertion Gore and Kerry would have been wiser than Dick and Don. With all their faults...they still were better choices than Gore and Kerry. One just needs to look at how the Center for American Progress has been running the WH for the past two years to know Gore and Kerry would have been disasters.

I know the question wasn't directed at me, but I'll answer anyway.

Yes, I think 9/11 happens anyway.

I suspect that Gore would have gone into Afghanistan and not Iraq. But, obviously, that is just a guess on my part.

It's understandable for you to be unsure how to proceed, D. I'm going to put you in touch with Dr. H up on 2640 Milton. He's a Christian based therapist, but, being open minded I'm sure that won't be an issue for you.
