I've seen no such "offer."

I feel sure I'll win the bet & I'll donate my winnings to Chris for the site. You game? I'll even throw in an extra $100 if he is defeated by Palin....

The Hill ^ | 2/17/2011 | Jordan Fabian

A new Gallup poll found registered voters are split over whether they would vote for President Obama in 2012.
Asked if they would vote for Obama or a generic Republican next year, 45 percent said they would support Obama and 45 percent said they would vote for the GOP candidate.

The results of the generic ballot survey are virtually unchanged from last year, when Obama held a slight two-point edge over a generic Republican.
But the poll suggests Obama is more vulnerable than former President George W. Bush at this point in his presidency.
When Gallup polled voters in 2003 to test Bush's reelection prospects, the Texas Republican led a generic Democrat 47-39 percent.

The Gallup poll also showed Obama with strong support from women and minorities, two of his key constituencies from his successful 2008 campaign. But young people have increasingly shied away from the president: Fifty-one percent of registered voters between the ages of 18 and 34 said they would vote for Obama, compared to 63 percent who backed him in a 2008 Gallup pre-election poll.

________________________________________
It's always easy to say you'd vote for "the other" guy when it's generic, but replace "Generic Republican" with Palin or Newt or Romney or Pawlenty or etc.....and I'd like my chances winning the bet SH won't take me up on. I won't vote for Obama, but I'd bet my mortgage he'll win a 2nd term (barring him being caught in an airport bathroom tapping the foot of a 12-yr old boy).

Same here. Palin's a punch line with most of the women I know & and sexual fantasy & nothing more with most of the men (& women....this is Asheville). I don't know where you live SH, but it's definitely an anomoly if Palin is as popular as you claim. And short of Chris Christie running or an Obama pedophile sex scandal, he's a shoo-in for re-election now that unemployment dropped below 9%. His popularity was in the High '40's / low '50's with unemployment over 9%....logic would tell you that will only go higher if unemployment drops lower.

Again, I'll offer a $100 bet about Obama being re-elected (and I'm not voting for him...just being a realist). And we can make it $300 additional bet that Palin will not win regardless. I'll pay you cash if I lose....you make a donation to CS (25%) and your local animal shelter (75%) if I win. That's how strongly I feel about Palin's lack of chances to win a presidiential election....hell, I'll bet she won't get nominated tohave a chance to run.... :geek:

Chris Wallace, one of my favorite talking heads, asked Bachmann if she was a flake. It ignited a Fox News firestorm.

Good question, by the way. And if anyone really believes she'll be reading Von Mises on the beach, I have a used car I can sell you!

Quoted in the news, Bachmann has stated that neither she nor her family has benefited directly by receiving funds through the USDA and their farm subsidies. She went on to explain that all of the money went towards paying salaries of people that work for them.
