BTW, I actually was reading a hard copy of The Onion at the coffee shop this morning. The stuff that gets linked to internet blogs and boards is definitely the cream of its crop. Overall, it's pathetic and unfunny. The recent cover stroy of the 500-foot Bin Laden rising from the sea and destroying American cities was a complete waste of time.

Yup, just about as interesting a read as a story about a man parting the towering walls of the sea and then their leader destroying a Pharaohs’s army.

You have to wonder about the simple minded people who write and read that kind of stuff. Jerry Springer material.

Citdog, you guys in the South needed one of those "parting of the waters" things about 150 years ago...could've swallowed up Sherman before he got to Atlanta. Heck, maybe an early water show along the Potomac would have given Lincoln pause.

Getting back to miracles and such, I enjoy reading about the real Arab-Israeli wars...the Jews should keep killing those rag heads bent on making everyone submissive to their blood thirsty version of God. Always a good story when an underdog, at least in terms of population, takes it to the unwashed masses. And of course, the Jews control the media so they've got that whole, "pen is mightier than the sword" thing going for them (along with some Merkava Mark IVs).

On the other hand, the Old Testament tells the story of quite a blood thirsty God, too.

So what is it with Gods and their anger towards their children...especially children that don't worship them the way they want to be worshipped? Child Protective Services would have declared most of them unfit as caretakers and had them thrown into a galactic prison. Now that would be a good read.
