Well, Obama did get 78% of the Jewish vote in 08'. He will be hard pressed to come close to that in 12'. And that will have an impact on one of the biggest swing states, FL, with a high Jewish population. WSJ had an article yesterday:TwinTownBisonFan wrote:probably not.CitadelGrad wrote:

The Jewish community isn't a monolith - either politically in terms of votes or in terms of donations. While AIPAC won't love this - they haven't been with the Dems in a long time. They weren't with Obama in 08... so not a lot to miss there... More moderate elements likely won't be swayed by this so much as they will by other things.

Our involvement in this issue creates far too many problems for the US. Some don't like to admit it, US support of the Israeli support is probably the number one issue that Islamic fundamentalists cite as their beef with us. I'm tired of us being in the middle of this crap - let them sort it out themselves and leave us out of it.

And how about the exact same speech to Iraq, Afghanistan, North/South Korea, etc., etc., etc.

Who is this "we" shit? You're American, dude.citdog wrote:Why should we give back lands that were taken from the sand niggers after they invaded our country? Yeah, but Citdog still wears the funny little hat. You know how the Joos protect each other. Understandable, after the whole 30s and 40s decades.EWURanger wrote:Who is this "we" shit? I love how Americans always try to associate themselves with something they are not. Irish, Italian, frickin' whatever.......my dad's originally from the UK but that doesn't make me British. If you were born here, you're American, period.

Really? You think the Islamic fundamentalists are upset that our white, infidel women don't cover up and walk and talk in public? Happens frequently. The AIPAC portion of the Israel lobby exerts a great deal of energy in insisting that it somehow holds sway over every Jewish vote and dollar... they don't... but they bully their way around like they do. "Jewish Donors Warn Obama on Israel
Jewish donors and fund-raisers are warning the Obama re-election campaign that the president is at risk of losing financial support because of concerns about his handling of Israel.
The complaints began early in President Barack Obama's term, centered on a perception that Mr. Obama has been too tough on Israel......."
