I thought it might be a joke. I was afraid that if I said it was a joke, someone would wonder if Samford or WCU were the joke. I often think to much or not enough. It is ok with me if WCU finishs behind Samford.

Everybody mimics the magazine polls. Here's what things are going to look like at the end of the season:
1. Wofford (after tiebreaker)
2. App State (after tiebreaker)
3. The Citadel (I can't decide this spot, so I go with loyalty. if not El Cid, it will be Furman)
4. Furman
5. Elon
6. GSU
7. WCU
8 Chatty

Dear lord... please allow this dangerous combination of hair spary, bat slobber, and D.O.T. four automatic transmission fluid to excite my mind, occupy my spirits, and enrage my body, provoking me to kick any man or woman in the back of the head regardless of what he or she has or has not done unto me. All my Best, Earlie Cuyler.
I actually have a feeling that Wofford, App, and Furman will end up in a three-way. All will end up in the playoffs. Don't know tie-breaking rules, so I'll just put them all as 1.
GSU is going through another transition year I feel, it's going to take a lot longer than a year in order to make up for VanGorder's mess. Chatty is my dark horse in the conference (then again, they always are....but always fail me). Elon and WCU continue to suck it up.

Hatcher will refine what Van Gorder tried to bring to the SoCon. Your officials will finally concede that there's enough linemen on the line and his spread garbage won't be stopped the last six games of the conference and into the playoffs.
Because I was forced to drill in the Reserves in Brevard, NC for over two years, I have more than a little insight as to the work ethic of the kids that's playing for WCU--they'll suck forever Lazy.
1. ASU
2. Furman
2b. Wofford
4. GSU
5. El Cid
6. Elon
7. UTC
8. Samford
9. St. Mary's school for the blind and deaf
10. University of People who suck at football
11. Western Carolina
ASU surprises most by going undefeated in the SOCON again, Furman beats Woffy but loses to GSU. ASU, Furman, and Wofford all make the dance. GSU looks really impressive by the end of the season.

Uh, dude, the cheap-shot artists dropped football a few years ago. I STILL can't believe that they dropped the sport in January and one of their trolls were still on the Sac message board running smack about how the Gaels were going to spank Sac.
SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.
The SoCon will be tough as usual but, I don't think Western can have another year like last year. I pray to God we can manage to NOT finish in last place.
I can't go into any game expecting to lose. I think our talent this year is better than last year as a whole. Our QB play will be much better. We still have Foster! Young receivers will step up early and contribute. Defensive backfield will be strong! We always get up for the Furman & App games. Look at both of those games last year. App will either have loss key players to injury during the Michigan game, or will overlook other opponents after going B2B with the rings. The Wofford jinx just has to end. El Cid is improving, but not there quite yet. This is our year. It's going to be amazing. I just hope the ole' Hatch man turns down all the offers he gets in December to stay and build a dynasty!
Honestly, this whole best conference in fcs garbage has to stop until the bottom half of the SoCon quits pissing their jocks. The top three are always contenders. But I haven't seen a truly balanced SoCon since ETSU made the playoffs 11 years ago. The strong stay strong, the weak are just wrong.

Same crap that was posted on the AGS. 1. Big Sky is just as top heavy..or worse than the SoCon. 2. Apps went thru the 4 play-off teams more easily than 3 or 4 of the the SoCon teams. Oh, that's right, something about rivalries. Like no one is out to get you in the in the play-offs.
