I agree with him on the statement about the balance between security and liberty. This country has, I think, defintely gone too far over to the "security" side of the equation in many, many ways.
Otherwise: I feel confident that Bin Laden was indeed killed because of the reaction of the Islamists. It seems clear to me that the Islamists generally believe it. Like for instance there was a revenge attack in Pakistan today over it. There is very little indication of doubt among Bin Laden symphathizers that he was killed.

Well, I believe that I must tell the truth
And say things as they really are
But if I told the truth and nothing but the truth
Could I ever be a star?

In a time of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act.

What a bunch of bullshit. Not a shot of the guy mowing down the jungle with the mini-gun.BDKJMU wrote:

Also, we're talking about a guy that told the world he was behind an attack that killed 3,000 civilians. If he wasn't dead, he'd be saying so, loudly.JohnStOnge wrote:Otherwise: I feel confident that Bin Laden was indeed killed because of the reaction of the Islamists.
