Yes he was. The raid was actually an extraction after al-Queda realized they'd been had. Bin Laden is now in the witness protection program and just moved to Cave Creek

Anyone can shoot an email to Michael Scheurer and ask him about it. He was the agency's chief of the Bin Laden unit for years. He's something of a loose screw but even HE will tell you this is ridiculous.
