3) Family (spouse and children) in the home with him
4) Treasure trove of info recovered from property ("an encyclopedia of actionable intelligence)
5) No weapon readily available when confronted by SEALs
6) Suspicious activity in/around compound at all hours
7) Builds a compound that sticks out like a sore thumb
It doesn't seem to me like he was trying very hard to hide, and it doesn't seem to me like he felt ANY threat of being found. I suppose after almost 10 years of being on the lam he figured he was pretty safe....
WRONG.
