If anything, it shows that large occupational forces are piss in the wind for getting a high value target. It shows that utilizing intel, cutting edge surveillance, and a small tactical team to bag the target are the future.

We needed to get him. I just don't think we deserve to celebrate it like we won a war. We handled ourselves about as poorly as a nation could since 9/11. I'm wary of any excuse to celebrate the bad side of America.

According to CNN, apparently the body won't be brought to the US and will be buried in the area, even though details of who will take control and bury him are still unknown. I guess there really isn't a need for the body, but it could've been cool to plasticize it and place it the the Smithsonian or something.
