Honestly, Z, I just found it comical that you were trying to convince Cap'n you're a better fisherman because you grew up with a river 'in your back yard'. I honestly couldn't care less whether you enjoy fishing or not, nor do I think it makes you less of a Montanan (living in Phoenix like some sort of 85 year old snowbird has much more to do with that. )

Total whiff. I wasn't trying to "convice Cap'n" that I was a "better fisherman". But his implication that I don't know my way around a fishing pole/tackle box/fly rod is flat out wrong. I've done plenty-o fishing in my day....I just realized many years ago that I don't enjoy it, so I don't partake any more.
