I love the fact at the very beginning of the video the guy says "you can always count on a packed house for Jackrabbit football" and as the pass is going through the air for the highlight at the 6 second mark there is almost NO ONE in the stands.

Is that an indoor practice facility behind the jumbotron?
A multipurpose practice facility with an indoor track, indoor practice fields for football/soccer, baseball/softball and state-ofthe-art space for sports medicine, training and human performance, and rehabilitation.

After being up at SDSU for a conference back in October last year and seeing the new football building I was impressed with it. The stadium could definitely use an upgrade thats for sure. Hopefully at some point the project will go through for you guys to help improve your facilities. If the upgrade to the stadiums are anything like the new football building it will be a very nice stadium.

I thought the same thing when I watched the video. Regardless, it does look like SDSU is in need of a desperate upgrade.

SDSU is too good a program, with fans that are too good to play where they are now.
CAS needs a lot of work to reflect the program and fanbase.
These look like good renderings.

that would be on the lazy producer who just grabbed a piece of Jack's b-roll they had in the library and crammed it in there - the Jacks draw really well, esp. when you consider their stadium

What gives here?
I stand by that it is. I think they are crazy for playing outdoors in Brookings - as it is, by the end of the season their field is a joke - a giant frozen mudhole - nothing against SDSU - you just can't do much to make it better - short of going with turf of some kind (astroturf when frozen is like falling on concrete though)
and yes - I know I wasn't your intended audience

Yea, thats what Im talking about. Good luck to SDSU on this. It would be a great thing to see it come to fruition. It would be a great example for Fargo and NDSU too!
Dear Lord, We come before you and humbly ask you to grant our prayer for a veil of protection to be placed over Donald Trump. May your will be done. In Jesus name we pray. Amen

What they need is heated field turf. Either that or kick the high school team that plays on their field out of their stadium so their grass field at least has a fighting chance of being somewhat decent by season's end.

Why in the fuck would they put in astroturf?
Because TTBF is stuck in 1987.

if football is "supposed to be played outside", like many here believe,
then it is also "supposed to be played on grass" (and/or frozen mudholes), not on carpet and old ground up tires.

No high school team played on MSU'S field, and it was always toast by November, too.

it was a non-sequitor - obviously, they'd go with field turf - however - i can't imagine that being very nice either when it gets that cold... as for astroturf - i'm speaking from personal experience - playing on that shit when it gets below about 20 degrees is like playing in the street... hurts like hell.

Newsflash: Under that thin little rug IS concrete. It feels like that even in a dome.
