I've voted for Republicans on the state and local level... it's a very different thing, however, than voting for one on the national level. And neither of us do that (not counting primaries

7) Propose and get passed a balanced budget amendment that includes presidential line-item veto authority.
8) On top of the reduction in military spending to 2004 levels, close 50% of all bases overseas and cut foreign aid by 50% (this one's for you, Houndawg).
9) Eliminate the IRS and implement a flat tax of 15% across the board, combined with a national sales (consumption) tax that applies to all purchases so the prolitariat can feel like the rich are getting **** a little (this one's for Baldy/blueballs)
10) Increase spending 10x on alternative fuels research, mandate 40% of power from nuclear power by 2015 and open up American oil fields for drilling/refining in the short-term.
