I hate to agree with BV....and I mean REALLY HATE it....but it is a concern that I would have.

The NFL's weakest hits are harder than 98% of the hits he took in college. I would have some serious concerns. Maybe not for a "new" injury but one of his numerous old ones flare up.

I will also add if he can stay healthy he should be a great player, and I am impressed with everything he has done - even though I played devils advocate against him pretty hard last off season.


However, one simply can not diminish the fact he has yet to prove he can stay healthy.

I think the fact that he found the weight room is a good thing, not sure what was going on prior to his NFL training. Maybe strength training was difficult with all the injuries he had or maybe he just thought his speed was enough. Whatever the case if he can get up to 205-215 and retain his speed he could be solid at the NFL level, it is scary to think about just how much better he could have been at the FCS level if he would have been a bit bigger and stronger.

It is a concern, but he's 20lbs of muscle heavier than he was playing at in college. He'll probably put on another 5-10. I'd imagine that he'd be better suited to take a hit now. Even so, he doesn't take a lot of hits with the way he jukes, spins and rolls off would-be tacklers.
