Draft Daddy "Small School Sleepers"

Post by Col Hogan »

Draft Daddy runs a blog that tracks his opinion of college draft picks, free agents, etc...

He's posted his "Small School Sleepers" list, which includes FCS...

He's got Justin Tougas (OL) as a prospect from Albany. He would have been had he played this year, but he quit for personal reasons before the season. I doubt a kid from an FCS team that didn't even play his senior year will get a shot in the NFL, but you never know.

How can NDSU have about 6 or 7 people on that list and yet do as horrible as they did?

Some schools turn out great individuals...yet can't do the team thing...

Look at how many folks from Hampton are on that list...

I was just going to say the same thing. The SWAC consistently has bad teams that put out great players to the NFL. The SWAC had only one OOC Division I win this year (if you count Sav. State DI) and yet they'll likely put out a good portion of the FCS players that end up in NFL camps this year.

I was wondering if he would have the 3 Montana O-Lineman on there. They have been touted as NFL prospects but I don't think any of them received any invites to these all-star games.

I believe it is January 31st. He is playing for the "Nation" team in the Texas vs. The Nation game. Weber St., Maine, Portland St, Furman, Colgate, Gardner Webb, Georgetown, Northwestern St, Stephen F. Austin and San Diego are other FCS schools that are represented in this game.

Easy, lots of injuries to go along with a bad QB and OC.
