What is the closest airport to SIU?

From Towson you've got BWI a stone's throw away, National less than an hour south, Dulles about an hour+ south, Philly about an hour north...
St. Louis - and then a bit of driving - but not too bad 2hrs
Or hop to Marion regional airport, KMWA. If you're a private pilot fly into Carbondale, KMDH

I'd agree if UM were more centrally located. I think the Mississippi River is a good middle ground, so that means SIU or UNI, which really isn't much choice.

UNI - Cold, dark, remote; fat chicks, indoor field.

SIU - Great weather, new stadium, poontang galore, wineries everywhere.
You live in CARBONDALE.
I live in an unicorporated area between Makanda and Cobden right by several wineries in the middle of the Shawnee national Forest.

You still have a chance to live in Carbondale, too, if you're upwardly mobile. You'll love the way the girls can fit in the front of a pickup.

November 12th in Charleston SC. El Cid v/ Samford. Great campus. Charleston has plenty of hotel space in November (unlike Boone at anytime). Great weather, plenty to do and see and an airport.

Wherever this meeting is held, it absolutely should not be held where the game is played in an indoor stadium.

ASU-GSU game in Boone

1. It should be the FCS game of the year
2. Boone is a tourist city to begin with
3. No better atmosphere in the FCS than when these two teams play.

You lost me here...I've been to Boone...it's probably somewhere around 170-180 in the list of cities I would consider a 'tourist city'... :|

How about having it someplace where it would make a splash to attendance? Have it at an Austin Peay game.

It would please me immensely to host you gentlemen. I'll direct the overseer to clear out several of the cabins for your comfort.

Oct. 8, SIU vs. NDSU. :thumb:

Centrally located, new stadium, great tailgate scene, Bison travel well, high probability of mild autumn weather. :thumb:

Although the Dawgs had a down year in 2010, finishing a disappointing 4-4 in MVC play, they return 14 starters who beat two of the three playoff teams they faced, despite a slew of key injuries: seven on offense and the entire two-deep o-line chart now bolstered by Florida xfer Tucker Blanton, 6-6, 340. The MVC's top-ranked defense also returns seven starters plus All-American FS Mike McElroy who was granted a medical red-shirt after last years season ending ankle injury. The Bison have some people back too from their best-ever conference record and two playoff victories. Should be a great game. We'll set up in the student area and set the controls for the heart of the Sun.

Biggest game in the FCS this year is UNI @ NDSU BISON at the Prestigious Fabulous Fargo Dome. Dont let the "Back East Syndrom" steer you away from the FCS Football Center.

Gentlemen if Charlestowne is in serious consideration for this event in the month of Nov it is possible to rent a 7 or 8 bedroom beachhouse on Folly Beach for the weekend very inexpensively. Southwest Airlines is also here now so flights can be had on the cheap. It's just an idea and I will be willing to give all yankees a written pass to move freely about the peninsula for said weekend.

Even the queer ones from Arizona? How much written notice would I need for a queer of Mexican descent that doesn't do lawns?
