MrTitleist wrote:Wyoming has never lost to an FCS team. Ever. Wyoming defeated Furman in 2001, Furman went on to play in the 1-AA championship. Wyoming finished 2-9 that season. Wyoming returns several starters on offense and defense. Weber is now without Cam Higgins, who was beat to **** after his last trip to Laramie.. this new QB will likely have the same problems keeping upright. Wyoming is also breaking in a new OC.. he's pretty good, an upgrade over the previous OC who was very inexperienced. Last time these two teams played Wyoming dominated the game for 3+ quarters, Weber had 5 turnovers. It wasn't close last time, and I doubt it'll be close this time. Pokes should be 3-0 heading into a game vs. Nebraska at home. I kinda really dislike that we have two FCS teams on the schedule, but with Boise joining the conference and Utah/BYU bailing it left a schedule hole and Texas State was the best they could do..
How could it not have been close if Weber was driving down the field at the end of the game to tie it even after throwing 5 picks? Weber lost by 7, last I checked thats a pretty close game for a FBS/FCS matchup, It should have been a blowout, it wasnt.
And if it werent for a fumbled snap Weber would have left Ft.Collins with a W.

Also have to take into account that the WSU game will be Sac's 3rd game in a row on the road. Thats tough having to start a season out with 3 straight road games. Perhaps we can hav a friendly wager on the WSU vs Sac game when the time comes?SDHornet wrote:As WR pointed out, WSU has a lot of voids to fill on the offensive skilled positions. Conversely we have a lot of skilled position starters returning on offense. Will home field advantage be enough to overcome this? Will the players WSU has step up and fill the voids? We shall see in about 27 ssshhhhooorrrrrttttt weeks. I do hope that WSU and its fans come into this matchup overconfident just like last season.ajwildcat wrote:![]()
Sac has NEVER played well in Ogden. This year in Ogden will be no different. 1-2 for WSU I can see, but 0-3 NO way in HELL.

And for the record, even though I don't think WSU will win either FBS game, I will be cheering for you guys.

Yup. We are @ Oregon State & @ SUU and you guys will be coming into the game off of 2 games @ FBS opponents. Should be an interesting game. A friendly wager might be on order.ajwildcat wrote:Also have to take into account that the WSU game will be Sac's 3rd game in a row on the road.
